Amandine Triguel

Travel advisor

Originally from Brittany, Amandine arrived for a year in Quebec as a nurse, and finally decided to stay, charmed by the province, its space and the welcome she received. Passionate about biodiversity, the outdoors and curious about nature, she recently turned to sustainable tourism. Sailing from island to island in her travels, it was only natural that she felt called by Anticosti after several months spent on the North Shore. Amandine loves theatre, dance and gastronomy; she knows how to meet others and thus promote a warm exchange. Cheerful and positive of nature, she will be able to give you personalized advice for your visitit, always with a touch of humor and a smile.

Joelle Dufour 2022.jpeg

Joelle Dufour

Scientific guide-interpreter

After obtaining a bachelor's degree in geology at the University of Ottawa, Joëlle took on several contracts and gained experience both in the laboratory and in mining exploration. She then worked in tourism in Gaspésie and on the North Shore, which allowed her to develop a passion for sharing scientific knowledge and vulgarization and to strengthen her love for the natural sciences. Despite her time spent in big cities, her footsteps have constantly brought her back to the river, with a growing fascination for the aquatic environment, from more than 400 million years ago to today. Joëlle will welcome you with dynamism and a smile! Answering your questions, she hopes to pass on some of her curiosity and joie de vivre to you. Hope to see you very soon.
